Welcome to Order Of Style. We want you to find your perfect fit when you shop with us, as a result we endeavour to provide you with the details to make sure you get what you want the first time. It is important to consider that a number of our brands have unique sizing, to help you find your fit we have created a chart that helps convert all the sizes to standard AUS sizes.
Wherever possible we will provide you with detailed fit information on the product page, we will also provide you with the models measurements and what size she is wearing in the photography.
To help you out even further we have provided a few keys fit points for several types of items.
Denim & Pants: When choosing a fit one for the main elements discussed is Rise. Rise is the distance from the middle of the crotch seam (right between your legs) to the top of the waistband. It usually ranges from 7 inches to 12 inches. The measurement for a rise is always discussed in inches, this is the international standard.
Low Rise – 7-91/2 inch rise. Fits 3-5 inches below the belly button when worn Mid Rise – 9-1/2 – 11 inch rise. Fits on or just below the belly button when worn High Rise – 11 inch and up. Fits I inch and more above the belly button when worn.
Outseam refers to the length from the waistband along the outside of the leg to the hem. This will help you determine where on your leg the pant will finish. It can be useful to compare the item your looking at to a similar item from your own wardrobe.
Tops & Shirts: The key areas on these items are the sleeve length and centre back length. The sleeve length is taken from the top of the shoulder – where the body panel and the sleeve are joined along the outside of the sleeve down to the hem or cuff edge of the sleeve. Centre back length is measured from centre top edge of the garment back down the centre of the garment to the hem.
