Shopping sustainability can be like navigating a maze, once you think you're on the right path you learn something new and you need to change course. Crisp cottons, luxe linens and recycled polyester take centre stage to deliver some must have sustainable pieces that are an easy addition to your day to day wardrobe. We look at ethical brands such as Baum and J Brand that focus on using these natural fibres and looking after the planet. What are some natural fabrics? Anything that comes from the earth can be returned to it; meaning a fibre that comes from a naturally occurring source (in soil or on an animal) will decompose if left unattended. Fibres made from Cotton, Linen, Silk, Wool, Cashmere, Hemp, Tencel and Bamboo for example are rooted in nature.
